Many brake pads on the market claim to feature 'ceramic' technology. The Ferodo DS1.11 is the real deal. It's based on a chemical family known as Siloxanes. Unlike carbon-based materials, siloxane chains don't break down at high temperatures, so DS1.11 keeps performing even under the most extreme heat conditions a brake pad could encounter. This means it won't experience fading and offers exceptional longevity, making it the best option in the Ferodo Racing range. Furthermore, its performance remains consistent throughout the pad's long lifespan. It's designed to deliver a consistently flat friction profile at a medium-to-high level of friction. Pad compression is consistently low, resulting in short and uniform pedal travel.
