Airtec Motorsport is a well-established British manufacturer of high-performance automotive components, specialising in cooling and air-management technologies for the aftermarket and motorsport sectors. The company is distinguished by in-house engineering, a comprehensive product range for a wide variety of vehicle marques, and international distribution with a strong focus on quality and performance.
This auxiliary radiator and turbo cooler is mounted neatly behind the off-side fog light and is supplied with a bespoke CAD-designed air duct that replaces the fog light, directing airflow straight to the core. An additional grille is installed within the inner arch liner to allow efficient air exit and maintain consistent airflow.
The radiator is integrated directly into the turbocharger cooling circuit, delivering an immediate reduction in coolant temperature and helping counteract heat soak caused by coolant superheating as it passes through the turbocharger, the hottest area of the engine.
Proven under track conditions, this system has demonstrated significant reductions in operating temperatures, particularly when used in conjunction with the AIRTEC Motorsport oil cooler kit.
