SpeedFactory 4140 head bolts / head studs.
The SpeedFactory Racing 4140 head stud kit is designed as a universal solution for all D-series engine block and cylinder head combinations, eliminating the need to mix and match hardware. Built to withstand high cylinder pressures in forced induction applications, these studs feature a dog point end for accurate seating and consistent preloading, alongside oversized forged nuts and washers for superior load distribution compared to standard hardware.

- Designed to fit all D15 and D16 engine block and head combinations, including VTEC and non-VTEC setups
- Manufactured with a 200,000 psi tensile rating and a 10mm diameter
- Dog point design seats the stud in the block for superior preload and accurate torqueing
- Integrated 5/32 inch top hex broach allows for easy installation
- Oversized forged 13mm 12-point nuts and hardened parallel ground washers deliver optimal load distribution
- Finished with a corrosion-resistant black oxide coating
