When you are rebuilding an engine for performance, you have got to build a good foundation.
Teflon Coated Pistons are the base of that foundation.
Teflon Coated Skirts Reduce Horse Power Robbing Friction and Piston Slap
Less slap = less noise, less cavitation (or liner pitting) and means longer cylinder liner life.
Teflon is the slipperiest material known to man. With a film of oil on the Teflon we now have a very smooth riding piston in the liner

- These pistons have additional holes in the wrist pin bosses to improve oiling and provide improved lubrication vs. OEM pistons.

- Piston skirts are fully coated for added protection against heat.

- 40 Percent stronger than OEM Honda cast pistons.

- These pistons have been tested to support over 350 WHP with the proper tuning and supporting mods.

- Wrist pin center to dome height has been matched to within .001"

- Dome displacement has been matched to within .005 CC

- This results in near identical cylinder compression, yielding more horsepower and better efficiency.

-These pistons are replacement pistons for the D16A1 USDM and D16 ZC JDM engines and are high compression pistons for all other D-serie SOHC (D16Z/D16Y) engines. About 11:1. Please calculate the exact compression ratio for your engine before ordering.

-PG6 pistons have a compression height of 30mm. They also have a light dome of about 0.889mm heigh
