The Haltech Nexus S3 ECU is an advanced engine management system designed as the successor to the acclaimed Elite 2500, offering a serious upgrade in performance and functionality. It combines all the classic functionality of the Elite 2500 with new features and the superior processing power of the successful Nexus platform. This standalone ECU is suitable for engines with up to 8 cylinders or up to 4 rotors, making it the perfect choice for modified street cars, engine swaps, and professional racing applications.

- Successor to the Elite 2500: Delivers significantly upgraded performance and processing power by utilizing the Nexus platform.
- Complete Tuning Capability: Controlled via NSP (Nexus Software Programmer) with up to 4D long-term learning and a 32x32x8 4D tuning table resolution.
- Advanced Tuning and Controls: Features 4D closed-loop boost control, closed-loop CO2 control, traction control, launch control, anti-lag, and rotational idle.
- Dual Drive-By-Wire Throttle: Fully supports dual electronic throttle bodies with built-in redundancies.
- Automatic Transmission Control: Compatible with Ford (AODE/4R70W), GM (4L60E/4L80E), Toyota (A340E), Lenco, and Liberty transmissions.
- Multi-Level Engine Protection: Features an integrated engine protection system to safeguard critical components.
- Suspension and Traction: Supports shock travel and ride height monitoring, alongside advanced torque management targeting driveshaft and engine RPM.

- High-Speed Logging: Onboard data logging with 128MB internal memory, supporting up to 300 channels at sample rates up to 1ms (1kHz).
