Haltech GPS speed input module.
The Haltech GPS speed input module provides a highly accurate, non-driven digital vehicle speed signal for engine management and data logging systems. Utilizing a fast 10Hz GPS update rate with a low 0.3% speed deviation, this module generates a 0V to 12V pulsed output pre-calibrated to 5,000 pulses per kilometer (5,000 ppk). Built-in Anti-GPS Drift technology prevents erratic speed readings when stationary, while intelligent pulse compensation maintains speed signal continuity when driving through tunnels or under momentary satellite signal obstruction. Supplied with an external GPS antenna and a matching 3-pin Deutsch DTM connector set, it connects directly to available ECU Synchronous Pulsed Input (SPI) or Digital Pulsed Input (DPI) channels.
