TEGIWA Carbon Airbox. Specifically designed for the Civic Type R and manufactured from carbon fibre.
This kit gives excellent performance gains over the original Civic EP3 setup and an immense induction noise.
The kit also looks great in the engine bay! It is supplied complete with all fixings/brackets for an OEM quality fit. The filter is a cotton mesh filter.
The intake is likely to give you between 5-10bhp without mapping and with mapping upto 15bhp peak and much improved mid-range.
Including special breather hose (silicone rubber).
Please note:
This model is officially for Right-hand drive models, but with small adjustments it can also be mounted on left-hand drive models.
Changes to be made to create space for the airbox:
- Parafan for the scoop (Has to be done on the RHD cars as well for this model airbox)
- move the brake fluid reservoir (forwards) by extending 2 hoses and extend a bracket with a piece of metal.
- Remove a small corner from the scope for the left wiper (small half circle)
- Move the fuse box a little to the left to make room for the brake fluid reservoir.

You can choose the color of the breather hose in the drop down menu.
