RPC Clutches and lightweight flywheels have been extensively tested and are proven winning products. Throughout the 2013 season RPC drivers have competed in Civic Cup with Luke Sedzikowski having picked up several podiums finishes and a win. Keil Priestman leads the FWD Drag Series, and Dan O'brien competes in the British Drift Championship. RPC STAGE 2 Clutch is an upgrade clutch kit for those who want a performance clutch for their road or trackday car.
The kit is designed for cars with up to 40% increase in power and torque. RPC includes only the highest grade components and is designed to replace factory OEM parts - no modification is required. The premium organic friction material for high heat tolerance, quick recovery, good friction and long life. The heavy-duty sprung centre plate features heat treated springs and retainer rivets for maximum power and durability.
The RPC pressure plate has special single diaphragm design to increase clamp load. It features induction hardened diaphragm, CNC machined castings, stronger drive straps and rivets. The RPC pressure plate provides smooth and precise feel with easy modulation. All RPC pressure plates are load tested for quality assurance. The kit is supplied complete with release bearing, pilot bearing (where applicable), grease, and installation notes. Within the kit is also our signature billet aluminium alignment tool, anodised in RPC blue.
RPC Lightweight Chromoly Flywheels are made from 4140 one-piece billet chromoly steel. They are specifically designed to reduce weight and inertia for better engine response. Most incorporate special design features to enhance the air flow to improve the cooling of the clutch. The ring gear teeth are milled onto the flywheel unlike an aluminium flywheel where the ring gear is pressed onto the flywheel which has the possibility of separating from the flywheel. All RPC Chromoly flywheels have passed engineering tests to 12,000 rpm. After professionally installed the flywheel requires a 500 mile break-in period. Ultra heavy-duty and meets or exceeds SFI 1.1 specification Made from 4140 forged chromoly steel (2X stronger than billet steel).
