The Mishimoto Performance Air Intake and Box System for the new 2017+ Civic Type R FK8 was designed to bolt-on to the FK8 without needing a tune. Since the new CTR uses a turbocharged motor, the A/F Ratio is very easy to throw off with modifications so designing an intake kit that maintains OE ECU perimeters was Mishimoto's goal.
The result is a redesigned intake box, MAF housing, and intake suction tube for 42% increased airflow, safe AFR reading, and 16.7 whp and 20.1 wtq all without a tune!
