HKS Super Air Filter replaces your cars original air filter with high-performance, dry-weave, multi-density polyester mesh offering increased air-flow for increased power. By offering less restriction it allows you to get more oxygen into the engine, offering more potential power, and making your engine keener to rev. This means you get the very best possible power from your vehicles original airbox.
The new multi-density material allows HKS to use a single layer, in place of the super hybrid filters "sandwich" structure. Progressively denser mesh means that dust particles don't all lodge at the top layer. They instead make their way through the filter stopping at different thicknesses of mesh. It takes a much greater amount of dust to completely block the filter. This means you keep good airflow for much longer. While lifespan will vary according to many factors HKS were showing better airflow for longer than paper filter elements in testing.
