Manufactured to the highest possible industry standards, the HEL Performance car clutch line kits are brand new to the tuning market. As with all HEL Performance braided hose kits, only the highest grade stainless steel components are used, making this kit unique in the marketplace. There are no mild steel components in this kit at all. All HEL kits come with CNC machined fittings, banjo bolts and new copper washers (where applicable), stainless steel braided teflon hose, and lifetime warranty.
This Stainless Braided Hose has been designed as a bypass solution to the Clutch Damper Unit as found on Honda Civic 06-10 FN2 and 2.2 Diesel Models.
There is a lot of negativity surrounding the Clutch Damper which was fitted for a softer, more civilised clutch operation and engagement. For the Enthusiast however, deleting this Clutch Damper can really improve your gear shifts with a more positive feeling pedal.
Another main benefit to installing this Line is cost. The Honda Clutch Damper can be expensive to replace if it fails. Versus the cost of this innovative little hose is a serious no brainer!
Ideal if the hard-line to the slave cylinder is corroded, as this line bypasses the damper and replaces the line in one hit.
