Airtec Motorsport Oil Cooler Kit for Honda Civic FK8 Type R
As part of our expanding Honda Civic FK8 Type R product range, Airtec Motorsport is proud to launch our oil cooler kit suitable for track or fast road use.
Our kit has been designed in the UK after thorough research and huge experience in developing uprated oil cooler packages for a variety of modified track and road cars.
With limited space, the challenge with this kit was to integrate a large capacity, external oil cooler neatly behind the bumper where it could still benefit from direct air flow, whilst integrating seamlessly with the car’s existing fixtures and fittings with no drilling or cutting required.
As a result, we have developed a kit that is completely reversible if need be. The comprehensive package includes a tried and tested 13-row Airtec oil cooler, bespoke laser-cut and powder-coated Airtec bracket, high quality braided hose lines with Aerotec fittings, and all fixtures, including instructions, for a simple bolt-on installation.
To ensure the maximum amount of air flow, we recommend removing the near side fog light and/or installing the exit vent that comes in the kit into the wheel arch liner to provide improved flow. However, these are not essential and the oil cooler will still work fine using the bumper’s original intake slots.
